Terrible driver I know!

Hopefully insurance sorts this out quick, might also be a perfect time to get some eye lids and grill and get the workshop to paint them for me!

John, that could be an expensive one to repair. I had a similar incident last year when someone hit me there.

If you have metallic paint it means you will need almost the entire car (roof, pillars and both rear panels) resprayed. I'm told it's the only way that they can match the paint. Mine was in the shop for 5 days while it was all corrected.

However if it's not metallic paint it should be a pretty quick fix.

This is just sad
They would have to be as blind as a bat to hit you there
Mate i Guess it could be worse, could have been in some of these hail storms like the other members have been
now that would be real bad,
Time for improvement, silver line in that cloud

So far I have 2 quotes, both of them totaling approximately $1.8k to repair. Both quotes have metallic paint listed but no mention of respraying roof and/or pillars.
I hope they can match the paint up, nothing worse than having two shades of black on a car!

Dropping it into AAMI at Chipping Norton on Tuesday for the inspection.

Definitely time for improvement, trying to get some eyelids and maybe a grill so I can get them painted at the same time!

Hail storm would hurt sooooo bad..

Get yourself an ULTREX grill, eyelids and STi style lip all at once. Trust me, your ride will thank you for it ;)

I hope so! Either way the paint on my car at the moment isn't in the best condition. So a respray in the future is something I am definitely looking into.
