No Dodgy deals here.....

Perrin is very hard to deal with IMO, even local re-sellers, I spent over a year trying to get pricing and when i was ready to purchase Perrin refused to ship it down unders.

When i was shopping around last year, cost of the tmic was over $1000 USD, plus shipping, perrin would not confirm the cost of shipping or the method...... really pissed me off

Fair enough Tony!

Doesn't help me though...

Is the Perrin going to be the best TMIC for my application? ie: larger turbo, engine pushing 300+Hp?

In the long run a fmic will be better choice hands down, but this old post and link might answer your question

Not bad!

How does the Perrin compare is more what I'm asking though? Perrin / AVO / ProcessWest is what I am comparing... AVO just for the sake of it as you are selling yours quite cheap!

EDIT: were selling yours quite cheap!

put your car back on a dyno and get your hands on a lazer heat gun for a big suprise

i dont know about the linked post above but if you dont see 50+ deg and not only that pop the hood after 1 hour of normal driving and you'll see 50deg again

now you tell me how you make any sort of real power with that having to do so much retarting on the timing

Fair call... I don't think anyone is under the illusion that the stock TMIC does its job especially well, particularly once you start playing with things!

What I want to work out, is how effective the Perrin/ProcessWest TMIC's are going to be comparitively once the bigger turbo goes on! And of course I am interested in how they will work compared to your latest project we have been discussing! :)

The only FMIC option I have found that will bolt on is the AVO(on special off LGT for US $1150 + shipping)... But I don't think that will allow me to keep my fog lights? and I'm not sold on the non-metal-pipework!

Water to Air I bet. It is a widely overlooked intercooling system that's 7 times more effective than air to air. However it's not without its compromises too!
