WTB - stock exh manifold, need exh port flanges...

Hi all, just wondering if some wants to donate/sell some stock headers off any subaru that i could use the exhaust port flanges to make some headers.. If mine work ok i'm thinking of doing a write-up on the diameters/ lengths/ bends etc for others to try and make. cheers

Item Description: after any stock exhaust manifold that hopefully has the same bolt pattern and port spacing as an ej25 SOHC
To suit: MY03 forester, N/A ej25 SOHC
Locational Criteria: within maybe 50km of melbourne
Condition: any, usable basically.

Not sure your theory will work, the headers on the exhaust manifold are cast, so will be a bugger to cut off and even more difficult to weld.

you could use the existing headers to make a template onto plate and then go from there maybe?

Why not just use a gasket as a template then? If you want flanges, find some aftermarket ones with a hole in them for cheap.
