05/06 Liberty 3.0 B axle clearance ??

Hi all

My name is Adrian, first time post!!

I don't yet have myself a Subi, but am in the process of buying a Liberty Wagon. I am a huge fan of the wagons and have seen some great stuff in here.

I am looking at the 05 3.0r B wagons or a GT and will be taking it to the snow every weekend.

Does anyone know the standard axle clearance on any of these models??

When I get my wheels, I will post and get involved. This website has proved very helpful already and I look forward to being a part of it, its such a good resource!!

Welcome Adrian!

Wagon clearance: 3.0 is 150mm
Wagon clearance: 2.0GT is 155mm

Sedan clearance: 150mm (all engine types)

Outback wagon gives 200mm clearance but is only available in the 3.0 or 2.0 non turbo.

Just reading off workshop manual for MY04/05 it says 3.0 or 2.0 for outback

The outback in Australia was only ever 2.5 or 3.0

The clearance under the diff is smaller than the 150/155mm quoted I believe, but the underbody between front and back axles is as quoted.

Just bringing this up in case you are considering the clearance in the middle of the road between the tracks of the wheels
