Postby Laps » Fri Mar 12, 2010 2:55 pm

Hello,

Im after eyelids for a MY08 Obsidian Black 2.5i...

I dont want carbon fibre or the fang style offered by ULTREX...

Dont really care about colour as I can get resprayed, but would prefer obsidian black...

Anyone got?

It's not a circle cutout, it's the edge of your headlight. There's actually a bulge on the plastic, if you haven't noticed...

I disagree...

Look at this (circle cut out):

Compared to this:

Only thing is the bottom one is $250 unpainted lol...

Sorry, my bad, those ones do have a cutout. It's hard to tell from the above pic of the black car.

Lol, so? $180 - $70= $110 left to have your eyelids painted... Im sure it wouldnt cost that much which means you would have alot of cash in your pocket haha

Indeed, you have to take into account when you go to a pro they aren't just charging for the paint. You have to add labour and extra's for materials and booth time. For small jobs it's easier to have a go yourself - or have a mate with a compressor and gravity feed gun that they are willing to lend.
