Im interested in purchasing one of the steering wheels that have audio controlls, either new or used.
Whats the install process? Would this have to be done by subaru because of the air bag etc...?

It's not hard. You don't need the steering wheel, just the switches which replace the Blank AND Cruise Control.
There are posts in that thread with all the info you need - read it through it's not too long.
