Hi all.

We have just purchased an MY07 Liberty GTB, manual, low kms, clean as and one owner. My wife and I actually purchased the car from Melbourne (well put down a deposit), on a nice fine Saturday morning two weeks ago.

But that Saturday afternoon, as some of you would know, a once in 100 year storm hit Melbourne. We were told that our car was under cover, but someone at the dealers moved it just prior to the storm. It got scored by about 4-5 hail stones, not too much damage, but enough to upset the plans.

It’s been a long few weeks now waiting for the dealer to have the damage fixed. We are now picking the Liberty up this Saturday. Was a bit annoying but honestly, the guys a Subaru Docklands have been calling us every 2-3 days with updates, their service has been pretty darn good, and it really was not the fault of the salesman. Plus they threw in a higher grade detail to remove all other minor scratches from its 3 years of life.

I am about to order a new exhaust too, just for fun. Might play with the car’s ecu and see what kind of power I can get out of her.

But for now, thought I’d say G’day and introduce myself.

Cheers!
Gav

Welcome mate,

Good to see another canberran on here! keep your eye on the ACT gatherings section - we've been pretty busy lately. Its a shame you didn't join up the week before you could have come along for our snowy's cruise.

Post up some pics so we can see!

Michael.

He's pipckng the car up THIS Saturday Michael, it wouldn't have matter if he joined a month ago.

But do keep an eye on the local activities, meet ups or working bee's etc. When you get to doing stuff on your car there are a few people that are willing to lend a hand or two to get things done.
