The road from Canberra to Cooma is boring and usually plagued with police so we stuck to the limit for the most part. From Cooma to Jindabyne gives a teaser of the winding roads you are driving to and basically as you head up to Thredbo the real fun begins. Insane amounts of twisting winding roads, hairpins and some very narrow places you'd swear were built for two horses to pass rather than two cars. This doesn't stop until you make it to Khancoban - and then a short drive on from there it all begins again until you pretty much reach Lake Eucumbene.
