Black vs chrome headlights...

Can anyone tell me which cars came with the blacked-out headlights and which came with the crome ones?

alan's (icandy?) ride has chrome JDM headlights, if i remebered correctly

All the 2.0 GT's had black inserts, the 3.0 and 2.5 GT had chrome /clear/white inserts.

I like the black lights better.

Black is definitely better :)

Mo, are you sure that's how it is defined? I saw a non-GT with black headlights today...

Yeah i dont think its separated like that. Cuz some of the boys down here have chrome and some have black. All pre MY07 models and all GT's.

Black looks heaps better.

I'm actually contemplating taking apart the headlight and painting the side of the indicator side black too... that would look the hotness.

General rule is don't go above 80 degrees... and remember if you read tutorials online, MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT REFERRING TO FAHRENHEIT!!

Don't know about that... i was only talking about the GT and the 3.0 ...

Interestingly (well I think so!) the MY10 GT and the Sports Premium model get the same external treatment (black headlights and bumpers) while the 3.6 gets the same look as the base 2.5i.

To my knowledge pre face lift all came with black headlights besides the H6 Auto model. post face lift all came with chrome headlights

my my05 isnt a gt, just a 2.5 and its got the black lights
