Suggestions on Wheels for my Lib

Postby Josh_07Liberty_2.5 » Wed Feb 10, 2010 9:26 pm

Hey guys just after some suggestions on what rims i should go for on my Liberty. Below are a few photos. would really appreciate opinions. im going 19s by 8.5. the two rims i have narrowed it down to are the bboss eleanors (which have been out for quite a while and i am worried it will make the car look old) or the marcello racing wheels mr07 (which have only been out for only a few months and i think it will give the car a classy sort of look). I am in two minds at the moment and would really appreciate some suggestions.
Thanks
Josh

eleanors are too common. Marcellos look great though.

I agree, first ones are way too common, and personally they remind me of Audi wheels...

However, having said that, all my mates reckon I should put them on my car, but I wont//

The second ones go quite well with your colour car, id prefer them...

Also, are you planning on lowering it?

Eleanors? It will be harder to find someone that DIDN'T have them. :P Although they appear larger than they are because the spokes go all the way to the edge, they are so widespread now it's to the point of being generic.

If you can get the Marcellos to fit, go with them! :D

Stay away from the Eleanors... unless you also plan on slapping a Holden or Ford badge on the front :P

This is what I'm saving up for... *drooooool*

They both look gross and would weigh heaps? Why not get some lightweight 17s? Since you don't have Brembos you wont need 19s or even 18s for brake clearance... :s

Well for one a person goes with 19's to look good (will look even better once it's lowered). Secondly, unless he plans to enter track competitions where every second counts, the weight of these are fine for street use.
