Question for MY07 Liberty Sedan.

Postby veruspeed » Wed Jul 25, 2007 5:40 am

Hi all, just got my car back from repair (stupid bitch reversed into my front bumper) Luckily it wasn`t that bad & still got brand new bumper.

Ok, the question I have is " Is the back seat in MY07 Liberty Sedan Foldable? " I know there is pass through panel in the middle. But is it split fold down rear back seat?

Thanks.

Eric.

I thought that the sedan had a split fold rear seat when I saw the car at the dealer. He told me that it didn't and it was something to do with side impact protection/stiffening around the back seat.

No idea if this was just standard dealer waffle or there was an element of truth to it.

roddez is right

the panel spanning across the back seats provides rigidity to rear of the car hence the high ANCAP (5 STAR) safety rating.

At least some dealers know what they a talking about

cheers
