i'm in sydney and my car will be off the road for the next 3 months...

BUT!

i don't have a gen4, so my mounting points will be different...

still, he can use my car if i get something out of it...

lol, even though i've already got tuned length extractors

I chatted with him about it back in March or April when I was getting the mufflers done. It would be easy to do, probably cost around $800 or $1200 (I can't remember which) in the end.

anyone else thought about running twin pipes (commonwhore styles) all the way from the block to the back of the car...

who is this Phat GT... and could he help me get twin pipes on my car?

re: twin pipes
You'd need to be willing to play trial and error with multiple setups and dyno/tuning runs to get something that worked well. IMO you'd need to at least cross connect the separate under body pipes, preferably as close to the engine as possible (just going by what I have seen of various motorcycle and car engines).

im in melb and would be interested in doing a full exhaust system, headers all the way back and get phat's sweet looking new cannon style mufflers (i would love to see if they can get the flamed look at the tips - the bluish purple effect - dunno what the proper definition is)
also finish it off with a nice cai for the full effect.

i can get a few days off to drive up use my car as a mule but would need to get a loan car if he takes more than a week, as i gotta work sometime

ive got an 06 model, is this much different to the set up's on the new ones?

Not too much different but the Blitzen rear bumper is a little different and may have slightly differently sized outlets to the everyday pre-facelift Gen 4

i'm off to hitech mufflers tomorrow morning to get a quote for a full twin 2 inch exhaust system on my car...

i'll let you know how i go... if my current extractors are not suitable for hacking up for dual exhaust use, i'll be happy to sell them on to someone here...

also, got a new video if you guys want to hear how extractors sound on a 3.0r revving from outside...

i can't rev past 5k cos of launch control, but you get the idea (i also have a varex on my car, and this is showing the difference with the varex open and closed):
