Man those are cheap! so cheap! already in Oz too. I reckon even a very bottom of the range coilover like this will be ok for a street car.

I noticed that in this ebay write-up they go down to 4kg/mm springs. When i was talking to someone at Racing Logic in QLD (I have those c/overs) he said 6kg is the lightest you want to go with in the front, and 5kg is the lightest you want to go in the rear. I went 6kg F & 6kg R just like the teins FYI. I wouldn't imagine spring rates would differ too much between brands, as it should be a universal measurement, and the weight of the car doesn't change!

Another thing to keep in mind is that cheap coilovers (which have even cheaper springs in them), will more than likely be nowhere near their rated spring rate. Worse yet is that the spring in each of the 4 coilovers will likely vary by quite a lot as well.

Don't know if you've looked into a set of coil over's yet, but I found these on e-bay.

They seem to be a fairly cheap entry level set, whether that makes them crappy or not I don't know, but they could be worth a try.

i did happen to stumble across them one night but was unsure as to the quality of them ?
i dont really want to skimp out wen buying things like that for my car !!
so if anyone knows of a decent coilover which isnt to dear but is good quality please let me know?
