ABS fault on dash

Hey guys, i will eventually take my liberty in to get looked at, but im just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. ABS light comes up on dash, and 'error 55' on the small lcd screen. Doesnt necessarily happen when braking, also is intermittent, when i turn the car off and back on, it dissapears. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
