Has anyone had any thoughts about the TRD Aurion V6

Nah the current aurion aint supercharged. The TRD will be.

I ended up with an Aurion as a rental in Cairns recently.

Yep, it had balls in a straight line, but the finish was a little tacky. A couple of the storage panels didn't open properly and what is it with that sliding centre console arm rest?

I ended up with an XR6 and a Falcon in other places on my trip and I must say that the Toyota was the best car I drove.

But then I came home and got back into a real car.

Firstly, Front Wheel Drive not AWD as suggested before so no way in hell will I buy or even consider, can you say torque steer?

Secondly, Orbital Engine Company of Perth is good at outboard motors and scooters for India/Asia but are still are worry for my money!

Well didn’t think this topic would go on as long as it did. I was thinking since Toyota were spending a bit of money and time on the project but not enough to go AWD, why didn’t they just make it RWD. I think more people may have gone for it, car would perform better, torque steer gone and could have been more a challenge for Ford’s and Holden’s may be even later upgraded to a v8 and joining in on the racing…..
