Its just that I've just seen some very very ordinary tunes come out of there with ECU's far far less advanced than a Subaru. I do know they use third parties to do some of their tuning and there is actually nothing wrong with that at all. If I saw the rom or a couple of maps from it, I would be able to tell in an instant if they'd done it properly. For the Liberty's I have my own very well sorted roms and I have no need to copy I'm always interested to see how others go about their work though. FWIW pulse do a very good job but allow a grain of salt or two for the dyno figures

By the way C&V did my 99 Wrx and tuned it Unichip and I actually like the guys. If Cons doing then I'm very impressed and I take it all back

On your dyno at the dyno day mine read 144 with Phat dump centre and mufflers and no tune
Amonth later took to C&V ...Con did the tune , I was there all the time
before the tune on his dyno it read 136 and after read 168 so a similar result to Ben
Now it is only figures comparing dyno's..... + or - a few kw can be many things but I can tell you that the 30 odd kw gained has transformed mine ,slightly quicker off the mark and really hauls from 3 all the way to redline without seeming to run out of breath as before
The only thing as Ben said is a slightly rougher idle that is about 100 revs higher than pretune, that I did notice at the start but after a few days I had forgot about
I know you aren't trying to score points or knock anybody's rep , wwhen it comes to dyno's from some places it is easy to be sceptical , only good to be used as a comparison before and after tune on the same dyno with no changing of parameters, and a figure does not tell the whole story- how the car drives is the true picture of a successful tune, and I am pretty happy with my result
