Hey guys,

Im new to subaru, just purchased a 2005 MY06 Liberty 3.0R-B.

More than happy with the purchase and still smiling every time i jump in..

i wanted to get some help with the specifics of the model as im new to suby and Liberty's.

for starters, how do i tell what gen my car is ( i think 4)

when looking on some of the japanese sites, they have a different set of model names/codes? eg BL...BP, how do i know what mine is...?

im keen do make a few small changes to mine (notable an exhaust, diffuser, front aero lip and possibly a grill change.)

ill post some pics soon, i just haf to wait for the weather to shine up and ill give her a wash...

BL is sedan, BP is wagon.
If you check your VIN number, it's the 4th and 5th letters. See: viewtopic.php?p=49818#p49818

Unfortnately, you've come across one of the harder variants to modify the appearance of as the range of parts that fit
our cars are harder to find. Grille wise, i'm not sure if we've found a right fit but the 04-06 JDM spec-b grille seems to be
the only thing that fits. For lips, I believe that ULTREX sells something as well as F1pilot if you want something a bit more
custom and in carbon fibre.

Is it a wagon or a sedan? Enjoy the car mate! They are brilliant.
