If you look in the reference and walkthrough you will find a thread on exhaust clips which will have many youtube clips, put together with a lot of effort by Jim (Arith) , I think you will find some for 2.5 's there with various types , just about all less than 2k
The search function would have revealed this btw

You must be some kinda genius lol

ALSO black n white, please dont get all forum admin on me about the search function. This thread was not asking questions about mufflers, simply stating my future mods... People began to question me on the cost, and thats how the muffler discussion started... Its not like I started a new thread on something that has been discussed 1 million times?

But yes, thanks for pointing me in the direction of that thread, very handy :air_kiss:

There's not really any need to be playing passive aggressive in response to a single post either.

Yes and there was really no need for the snide comment "the search tool would have revealed this for you ;)". I hate when people go to forums asking questions, and get responses like "OMGZZZ USE THE SEARCH"... i kinda feel like, if im taking up your time with my stuid posts, feel free not to read them(not at you, just in general)... and besides, as I said before "This thread was not asking questions about mufflers, simply stating my future mods... honestly, i dnt think it was a snide comment. The thing with exhausts is that you cant exactly 'try' an exhaust on a car b4 u buy it and say 'oh i like it' or 'i dnt like it' without commiting to the buy. All he was saying was that if you really do want to get an exhaust (or any mod), use the search feature to see what others have said about exhausts (or other mods). The post that he mentioned has MANY different exhausts on many different liberty's and just by going to it, you can see what others have done, how much it has cost them and a preview of how it might sound on your car.

***EDIT: You may hate it when people go forums and get responses like 'OMGZZZ US THE SEARCH" but the people on forums hate having to answer the same question over and over when its been covered in a previous post, hence the search feature.

Well you sort of can try exhausts by asking a member and borrowing his for a week maybe, even a day :S. Just gotta make sure they are fine with it lol :)

Fairly sure Noozl and Norm did this with Norm seeing what Hitech exhausts sound like on his car *This may not be correct i heard it from a fellow member*

There aren't many mods that are legal. Looks aside, removing the resonator is only really going to increase sound - it's a straight through design already without any obvious pipe diameter changes.

You're probably talking about removing the cat(s) which is highly illegal and will net thousands of dollars in fines. If you remove a resonator and it's too loud it's no big deal you may just get a noise pollution fine which is a few hundred dollars. Like Smythie said there's likely 0.00000001% power gain from removing the resonator.

Then getting the tune tweaked on the 27th to suit.
