Center Dash Multi display dial

Im needing a center dash unit like the one on ebay at the mom. Im just after the led display part (time, temp, av km, etc.) Mine hasn't worked in a while now arggg. Ive been to Subaru (ripoff) parts and they quoted me $240, which is robbery. Its definitely not worth that!

Is it totally dead (no display), some buttons wonky, or something else?

its completely screwed. it just doesnt turn on most of the time. When i give the dash a thud it works but then stops again soon after. Pulled it apart and it has some damage to the right hand side at the bottom.

Hmm... you may not have too much luck getting it second hand off anyone on the forums. It's kind of a necessary part. Not like ppl will replace it with somethin aftermarket. I think someone posted a Subaru wreckers on here, and they had a few cars with full interiors there. Might be best to try one of those. I can't remember what thread it was in though sorry

it was only if someone was removing the center dash to fit a screen or something. Ive called a couple of wreckers and they want new price for it.

$240 new is a pretty decent price, I got quoted $400+. Where did you get that price from and do you have a part number for it?

That was the cheapest price i got and that was from a wrecker. Subaru in Melville want $425. I think the part number is 85201A

Japanparts have it for ~$213AUD plus post.

As the cars for sale I'm just going to go a cheap option and put a clock in there( suit post facelift libs with display on speedo) instead of having all the info stuff. That way there's less to go wrong and no more trying to correct bad driving habits to get better fuel economy

I can`t get close to $213.Retail is $440.00inc and I can get a bit of a discount but dealer cost is higher than the price you have quoted.Sorry I couldn`t help,maybe on something else.
