for all those wondering, this is what a dyno chart looks like for an ez30r that has variable lift cut in like vtec instead of gradually like from factory:

also, the difference between running a 2.25 inch exhaust with 2 inch mufflers (blue line), and running a full 2.5 inch exhaust (red line):

yeh, if i can find the printout i'll scan it...

that was before the last retune that smoothed out the transition...

next tune i'll be going back to the instant transition like vtec... gives me more power between 4000-5500rpm

This reading was obtained after a very minor tweak that Paul Fisher ( Pulse Racing ) did on his 1st trip to Brisbane. I can hardly wait for his return later this month to continue with the custom tune on my H6 !

I don't profess to know what settings Paul was able to tweak, but the result is certainly noticable and an improvement for drivability from my perspective.

It was great to NOT have to speed up ( apply more power ) when the road started to incline a little just to prevent the gearbox from downshifting to then upshift again. Suffice to say this improvement has other flow on benefits such as the auto transmission having not to work as hard in having to make as many up and down shifts in succession. Nice to drive in with 119kw and drive away with 131.3kw, but the drivability improvements is what I'm chasing.

Eagerly awaiting Paul's return at the end of the month for more gentle massaging when he is able to complete the custom tune on my car !!!

after the HKS panal AirFilter on & the PHAT exhaust fitted ~128kw
V-tuned ~140kw + 200N gain with only $297 spent~~~ value of money for all the Victorian!! LOL
