Will you continue to do the mild steel sets and how does stainless work out cheaper?

Yes - mild steel sets were produced yesterday

The stainless sets are made in Asia

The location of manufacture alone is responsible for the price difference

Are you expecting the quality of the S/S sets to be as good if not better than mild steel?

Would you be able to drop-ship to the UK / US for example?

Not initially - I need to SEE each piece to be sure about what the customer is finding in their header set box.

If production quality is consistent then drop shipping will be possible -

Wasn't sure I'd be keen to start on any improvements just yet as I was happy with the car but my tax return is almost here so maybe it's time to start?!
Especially after doing some reading here on everyone's comments on the improvements!
I'm keen to look at the header/tune duo and had a few further questions as I'm fairly clueless with the intricacies of mechanics and tuning (not my game). Just interested in the results!!
What effect does the header replacement have on the exhaust note and overall loudness/volume when the rest of the exhaust system is stock. I'm not really looking to go too much louder than stock if possible.
What sort of extra work is involved in fitting the Raptor headers ? There was mention somewhere that they weren't quite a 'bolt on' fix?
And I'm definitely interested in the stainless headers too.
Thanks,
Karl.

Karl

It should be in earlier posts on this subject but to save you the looking - if headers are added to an otherwise stock exhaust system - you cannot tell they have been added. No change in noise levels or quality at all. IF you modify the entire exhaust or at least everything except for the catalytic converters then you can expect noise will increase as a function of the other things you have changed - its all up to you.

The headers MUST be fitted by an exhaust technician or exhaust specialist shop as a welding job is needed as part of the install. This guarantees the item is fitted properly and safely, i also dont have to worry about someone jacking up a car improperly in their driveway and half or totally killing themselves when it all falls down on them. Raptor will not ever be making headers with integral catalytic converters.

Quite a few forum members have the headers and can probably tell you MORE about the sound quality when you add then to modified exhaust systems or vice versa than what I can

Thanks for the reply.

Please put me down for a set of stainless headers.
Any general idea on the expected time frame for delivery and a price?
