Was nice to finally meet you last night Matt after hearing so much about your tunes.
I was spewing i missed the car with the meth kit, but sounds like his issues with the kit caused delays and problems with his tune.
I also wanted to see the car on after Bruce as that engine sounded like a real monster, but how did it end up going?
It was interesting to see you in action at RTR tuning the liberty on the dyno. It's a shame that it didn't reach the claimed 205 number, or the original 220 for that matter, but feedback is that it is smooth to drive.
Is there any reason you can think of why a car with the mods it has only made 185.6 on the dyno? I've seen this car make more power in the past with other tunes.
To be perfectly honest, i'm curious to know because i was considering a vf52 turbo like on that liberty so i could up my power level a little further with a bolt on turbo, but seeing this car tuned left me wondering about any gains at all since i already make more power than this on the stock vf46. I assumed the vf52 would net more gains???
Also, I know Ain had his car on the dyno at RTR recently and received a figure from there, but with the rollers being programmed 20mm out on the wheelbase length, does that effect his result? Would it read higher because the wheels are sitting higher on the rollers or lower? It was quite funny watching all of us rip out our phones to google search the wheelbase length of the liberty.
Finally I have to admit, I'm very impressed with the upcoming LC and flat foot shifting ability that you were talking about last night!
Also, Daniel from RTR seemed like a guy who knows his stuff and was nice enough to explain a few things to me. Very informative.
Thanks and again, it was nice to finally meet you.
Brian
