You could tune the auto to short shift your first gear to eradicate your FLKC you are getting as well
It will still change gears automatically in manual mode with the gears showing, and you can see the auto beat him to it on the last one, so he might as well have let it do it's job....or is the auto not shifting in the right place?

Just kidding, but seriously why would anyone manually shift EXACTLY where the auto is meant to shift anyway, UNLESS he didn't trust the auto to shift correctly?
You mean drop off the RT and some throttle at the end of the gear and "release" the auto so it can shift? I know it will work, because I've done it...after reading your posts somewhere

. But again why is this guy shifting manually out of 1st?? And I never had FLKC in 1st....

But I DID have trouble shifting out of first on your tune...as did Rome?
Matt I think you're a genius and if not for your experimenting and innovation, we wouldn't have some very cool things with our autos. I absolutely give thanks to you, and bow down to your research. I find it strange though that your customer (it is your cust. in the vid right?) will need to change manually, when you yourself said that a well tuned auto will do the job perfectly. If it's not your customer, please ignore my rant.
