Late to the party, mufflers look the goods! Will these fit N/A Liberties (MY09 Sedan) also?

Should be a direct bolt on for the gen IV liberties with dual exhaust.

Enigma - as gumbyy has said, I'm pretty sure it bolts straight up. Check the first page of the thread, I think that there is list of all the cars with sound clips too.

Cheers

** UPDATE AS OF MONDAY APRIL 13TH **

Everyone, thanks for your continued patience. The long Easter weekend has seen production pretty much slow, as only a few sets were produced. Again, they were fitted to Sydney folks to ensure they would fit correctly as Phat had changed the jig again to hide the muffler body even more. Those concerned with the mufflers hanging too low or too visible should be pleased that they are more tucked in now. Phat is also trying to adjust the MY04-MY06 fitment to sit more evenly as all pre-face lifted models see the passenger side stick out a bit more than the driver side. It's weird because on the MY07+ it fits perfect.

Unfortunately Phat had to go overseas for an emergency business trip for a few days. However he has promised once he returns production for everything (mufflers, centre pipe, and dump pipe) will go into full swing as he wants to get everything done as quickly as possible. He understands everyone has been waiting for quite a long time so he's going to get it done.

Oh, I've also temporarily closed off the group buy to give Phat some breathing room and catch up with the current orders. Otherwise it's not fair to people already in the queue.

** UPDATE AS OF TUESDAY APRIL 28TH **

All, thanks again for your continued patience. Phat has been working hard to finish the dump pipes this week, and will now continue with the mufflers. Unfortunately the place he's producing them has run out of materials, so they are ordering more in. Until then muffler production has hit yet another setback. I'm really really sorry folks.

In any case, once the mufflers are back in production, as I was saying in the dump pipe thread, I think at the pace things are going, we may have to ship out each part/batch as they are finished. Otherwise if we try to wait for the entire system to be completed before shipping out, the people that just ordered 1 component will be waiting a while.

I will confirm with Phat tomorrow on getting the mufflers shipped out as soon as they are ready, along with any dump pipes that get produced this week.

** UPDATE AS OF MAY 5TH **

I've asked Phat to focus on finishing up the mufflers this week and the next. I know we've reached the 3 month mark, so all of you who have been waiting since February for your mufflers I thank you very much for your patience. There have been fitting issues along with other delays but we are slowly completing the circle. Interstate folks your mufflers are coming, don't worry! I've put the whip on Phat's back to get the mufflers done back in the priority (ever so gently of course as people awaiting his products will beat me up if I injure him and cause more delays).

Those of you asking when this Group Buy will open again, well, I can't say at this point. I just want to finish up the orders we currently have so that people aren't waiting any longer. Then once Phat takes a break, we'll open it up again.

Thanks today to Phil (Spec.B-GT) who volunteered his time and wagon for the test fitting of the wagon version. Phat has completed this, and will start the jig this week. Of course his time wasn't entirely without rewards, as he drove away with the first wagon set!

Firstly, a really BIG THANK U to Phat & Jim for making all this possible!!

As Jim has already mentioned, I was out there yesterday getting the wagon fitted up. And after watching Phat at work, I realise what a slow & strenuous process it is to measure up the mufflers & making them sit in position before repeating the entire step & matching up the other side. This process requires alot of patience to get right, as the slightest movement will affect the final fit & placement of each side.

With much anticipation amongst wagon owners, the good news is that the wait will finally be over soon as Phat now has a complete sample ready to go, and will be able to prepare the new jig. Once the jig is made, I'm sure we will start to see these rolling off the production line in no time!

I have to say I was extremely happy with the overall fit & placement of each muffler. The result was very pleasing as they sat perfectly symmetrical and the muffler body & tips are well integrated with the rest of the rear bar.

After hours of testing & fitting was completed to make the samples, I was lucky enough to be able to driveaway with my very own complete set yesterday :)

Hang in there wagon owners, there is a dawn on the horizon!

Here are a few pics of the finished product:

Phil man, it looks great and sounds even better! Good to see you back in quad tips. Hoping Phat will have a few sets completed soon.

Sorry Dwayne! I've been so busy I haven't had the time to fit them on my car. And I haven't any turbo volunteers that are willing to donate some time to drop by Liverpool Exhaust to have them test fitted and recorded.
