(yes, i've got a tomtom and navman)

I purchased a bendable mount clip that suited this model of the Tom Tom One and then bent the metal mount so it would bend around the closed bottom lip of the cubby door. Then I cut a 1mm slit that was the same width as the bendable mount tongue into the facia that is directly underneath and covered by cubby door and feed the other of the mount through this slit and wrapped it around the underside of the recess behind the cubby. Put some small self adhesive
stoppers at certain contact points to stop the rubbing and hitting of surfaces when the car was in motion ! Worked a treat, I could remove my GPS from the
holder and take away, I could still open the cubby door at anytime including when the Tom Tom was mounted and I used an inline power convertor that has the
mini usb to provide power to the Tom Tom !

Thanks for the replys and photos. All looks really good, the only problem now is another thread has given me an idea how to build an In Car PC on the cheap, and i am enough of a geek to do that. If i ever get enough money together to pull it off i will defn' post a heap of pics and other related goodies (Can get my hands on a mobile Sat internet connection that was featured on pimp my ride. Therefoire i will never be without youtube. In no way is it cheap).

Still if not, what is a good Double Din head unit that has Bluetooth, GPS, and can run USB and DVD media, also do they support multiple screens so i can through a couple in the back for the long drives to the snow every year (minimum 13 hours wheel time from ADL). Given that you guys seem to know which ones are buggy (and therefore have more of an idea about in vehicle audio systems than i do) i figure i might as well pick your brains in stead of some salesperson who has a commision in mind.
