I'm nearly crossing the 8K mark for my car.
Live in Sydney and give my car a bit of rev like most others here :p
Driving in peak traffic all the time from Ryde to Waterloo
I used to take Victoria Road, cut to Parra Road and then cut though Newtown/Enmore to get to Waterloo.. on the way to work. On the way home i'd cut through the cross city tunnel to Anzac Bridge and battle my way through Victoria Road home with the odd 2 nights going to North Sydney for Uni and driving back at night in no traffic.
That gave me averages of around 350-400km per 50-55L fuel up, or on my dash it would give high 11's and low 12's.
With the joyful opening of the Lane Cove Tunnel, I now cut through the suburban streets coming out of Pittwater road (trying to run Tom over on Blenheim st :p) and then cutting all the way through the Harbour Tunnel etc.. and on the way home it's the same route in reverse, with the odd 2 nights in uni.
This now gives me 450-500km per 50-55L fuel up, or around low 11's sitting at 11.2 to 11.4
Last fuel up was 500km, 53L fueled up. I only run 98RON since I've had the car fuelling her up with Shell V power so far. Preferences are Shell V Power, Caltex Vortex 98, and BP Ultimate (other two not used yet in this car)
I 've been driving consistently in Sport # for the last 2 months and not noticed any consumption difference.
This is before the extra few small mods I had eg air guide.
A bit of a lead foot at times :]
MY07 Liberty GT Spec B manual. I'd reckon if you had an auto, the fuel consumption would be shot by 100km less per tank etc.
