GT suspension refresh - what to get?

Where are you, where are you at suspension-wise and what do you hope to achieve?

OK, coming back to this, and looking for components, can anyone provide links or info to suppliers and/or model info for new dampers/springs? I like the sound of Konis all round for $1200, but what model no? Who from? And if I'm thinking of Spec B stuff, where should I start???

Currently have an 05 GT wagon, which, generally, is in good health. I'm aiming to keep it for a few years and need to start thinking about refreshing the suspension. It all still works, but its starting to feel a bit worn. What are some decent options - I'd like to sharpen the handling a little, esp at the back which feels like it needs tying down better, without comprising the ride too much as it is really a family car. Also can't have the car sitting too low or it won't get onto the drive. I'm thinking Spec B stuff, but then I might as well just sell the GT and buy a later model. Or is that not really as daft as it sounds??

Im looking at upgrading the bils as getting noisy and crashing. Im considering coilovers and the HSD monopro or maybe bc racing

I recently bought MY05 GEN4 GT WGN. Even though its only done 87k. I felt also the rear shocks were a bit on the floatie side. I have just fitted low klm Gen 4 Bilsteins at damn good price using my GT rear wgn springs. This has made a significant difference. The ride is quite firm and comfortable. I also bought a an adjustable whitline rsb which has eliminated the boating. Over all on a low budget I have done well and quite happy. I hope this helps.

On Thursday i put in JDM Billies and Sti Pinks in my 04 Gt wagon... much firmer than i was expecting, but the roads over here are pretty shit!

I was more expecting the ride of my B4, which in my opinion even with 200k on her, is perfect,

Yeah I heard the pinks were more a harder ride but better for handling

Iirc jdm bilsteins have firmer damping.
Maybe give them time to break in
Lets see 10K up to 10yo so they must have been sitting around for a while...
Plus the STi pinks are firmer than stock by around 1kg iirc.
