I have the Bils as std on my 08 gtb, on 18" rims, with 215-45 tyres. Before buying this, several people told me the ride was harsh, but neither I nor the missus have any issues with it. Sure there are some sharp responses over railway lines and edges, but 99% of the time its just fine. If you are on smaller rims than mine, the ride will be even better. I also run the tyres at 35psi, up 3 from stock. Apart from the excellent value at $550, the Bils have the added advantage of being rebuildable when they soften up or go off. I have a set waiting in the wings for when mine get tired. I also have a set of Bilsteins on my Porsche 928,on 225-50x16s, run them at 38-40psi, and its ride is HARD, especially on rough suburban roads, but on the highway its like a magic carpet.
