Its a sensor in the front and back to determine if the wheels are off the ground... Will also depressure the brake lines on a single diagonal to avoid a total lockup on landing and enable ABS to work etc.

I need convincing. Who puts their hand up to test this theory? :-p

jack the car up, unbolt and adjust the front or rear all the way in one direction and keep it there with a zip tie or tape, lower the car, turn car onto acc (i think), turn on head lights. watch...

hahah i tested this the other week when i had my car on jacks before i read this and it doesn't change a thing

i also read somewhere that its for the auto levelling thing on the light so thats another one for hid leveller.

So i was replacing my bent control arm the other day and found the new control arm i was putting in didn't have this bit that came off the side, so i cut it off the old one and welded it to the new, but i was curious what the arm is for, Tangcla wasn't sure of what it was either (user i bought the control arm off) as he doesn't have that arm on his Lib..

Regs say you are not allowed to heat,weld,bend any suspension/sterring component,so if you get a anal inspector they will fail you when it comes to rego.
