Either way it sounds amazing. Coilovers with deep dish black wheels = win

I just swapped mufflers with Mihai, (both hitechs), as he had wagon suited ones and i had sedan.
So now the length is perfect, the old ones were short, but i couldn't be bothered getting them extended.

Anyway, now the left hand tips are sitting a bit low. How much would an exhaust shop quote to re align them?
Or is it hard to do yourself?

I just had a brilliant idea.

Get a big shifter and bend the hangers to correct the alignment.

Will have to see if they can be bent without heating them up, they look sturdy.

15mm of solid stainless steal. Could probably use my index and pointer fingers.

The longer tips look sooo much better. Happy days

The cable ties actually worked. I used some decent sized cable ties going around the muffler hanger, to the hanger on the car that the rubber hanger is joined to.
so basically the cable ties are bypassing the rubber hanger and going straight to the car, pulling it all which ever way you choose.
Both muffler tips are nearly identical now, but they both still sit a tiny bit low, preferably i'd lift them both up 10-20mm. |

I pushed the muffler the direction it needed to go, while my brother tightened up the cable ties. Simple really.
Hopefully they don't get too hot and melt.

That's a cheap and easy solution there Jay. Might I suggest a second cable tie as a precaution in case the first one breaks or you go over a pot hole by accident etc. Couldnt hurt.

Bugger all this cable tie business. Steel hose clamps = winning.

I have the ill-fitting ultrex quads and that's what I did to get them sitting nice

Agreed, steel hose clamps would be a more permenant solution, and they wouldn't melt.
