hehe. It's a suburb near Cronulla. Bloody good pickup though

In 'revision J' I've added a couple more degrees of timing in to my timing advance tables plus I'm winding the peak boost up top down a little for safety's sake. Its much better though because I've now also added alot more boost down low rather than just a peak up top. With the stock exhaust I can still do the low end no dramas. No knock over the last week or so which means things are still all fine and dandy. If I had a decent Zorst I'd be able to play with the top end a bit but alas no.
It'd be easy to calculate one except the wheel and engine speeds don't correlate there - the wheel speed scale is a constant but the engine speed scale is all over the place.parso_rex wrote:
Heres a GTI that I've spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long on. We are still working out the tuning prog. I have to get that timing up and the boost down.It nice and safe though and would kick a stock STI's arse.
I should have grabbed a torque plot

20rpm difference between 140 and 150km/h?parso_rex wrote:easily explained. It the dyno roller speed. if you do a few checks you'll see that it works out at something like 42~43 rpm per kmhr![]()
The RPM data though is via ODBII comms

The RPM data though is via ODBII commsJust jokes mate. Though I reckon if you are going to have similar wheel/engine speed inconsistencies on a run, showing wheel speed only would be best to eliminate confusion for people reading the charts.
