I need to be back in Hurstville by 3 or 4 I think so I'll be along for most of the drive. The earlier the better for me

Which way do you want to go? Wiseman's Ferry, Central Mangrove, Wollombi, Cessnock then the hard slog through Kurri to Newcastle?

Open to all suggestions :)

Depends on the other guys too. But if my family is on board then it will be a nice easy drive from me.

Thanks Trieu
Time for arrival aim for about 1130-1200

as far as the time for leaving goes, it depends if you want a quick trip up the F3 which will only take about 1hr45

or go via the old pacific hwy from hornsby to somersby approx 2.5hrs, its a nice twisty rd but still tame enough for the family's

wisemans ferry will take over 3hrs :(

I'll be up for a drive before hand. Meeting time doesn't bother me at all. Probably 7 or 8am start would be best.

Old Pacific Hwy ranges between 60-80km/h. Cops are always present there so we may have to be pretty careful. I used to ride my bike up there a fair bit. Generally speaking, unless you were doing something completely stupid on the bike, cops would turn a blind eye. But they would generally book anyone & everyone who was doing the wrong thing in a car.

7 am is a bit early. I think 8 is a good time. Then we set a deadline of 8:15 as drive off. We should have some route determine so those who want to catch up know what streets to use.

As Norm suggested, wouldn't mind the Krispy Kreme at Liverpool for us westies. Large parking lot and breakfast at McDonalds for anyone who hasn't eaten yet.

Livo KK's sounds good to me also :D

I shall be taking advantage of the old Maccers breakfast seeing as I'm going to have to leave the comfort & glory of the Shire rather early

Should also make sure we have a couple of pit stops along the way... May I suggest the Road Warrior Cafe :D Their B&E Rolls are most good 8)

Also, for those who have CB radios, it would be rather helpful if you could bring those along... Especially since some of us tend to drive faster then others... *cough Trieu cough* :P

Haha. I like my quick and fast launches, but tend to taper off. Trieu on the hand, is like the Energiser bunny. He keeps going and going and going .... faster and faster and faster ....
