are we ready to start?


first you need to remove a tricky cover inside the door latch to get at one screw


then after removing another two inside the door handle, pull the panel out at the bottom


then lift it 50mm to release the hook at the top


make sure there is something clean and soft on the ground for the panel to rest on


then give it a hug as you unscrew the door latch from inside


next remove the plastic lining with some short, sharp tugs


then work an arm inside to release some more clips


plastic off, removing the speakers

Good shots. Very full day with lots to be done, and lots achieved. I rolled out of there @ 16:30 and there was still at least 1-1.5hrs of tidy up required in places, with many shy starters wondering whether they should just 'do another door' before they close off for the day.

I'm glad that all that attended managed to get the swing of how it all worked and by the end of the day were 100% on top of doing all and anything deadening.

Well done all! I feel that I've imparted enough wisdom for today.

Yeah I was one of those. Didn't end up doing another door ended up buying an extra 1.5 sheets of deadener of Will though, so I can do both membranes on my doors later

Make sure you do the rear left door using your embalming method, and do the rear right door using my sealing method, just so your car is consistently different haha.
