I can only see one power point, and lighting is similar to a reasonably well lit section of Shopping centre parking - in other words, we are probably going to need more. Daisy chaining a shit load of lights around the area won't really be too much of an option, but I am no expert in this field. I'll get some photos so you can see for yourselves.cpitts wrote:EDIT: It's also worth noting that if Benny comes through, his car will be the free build car that I'll teach from and predominantly do.
Does this mean I don't pay for sound deadening either ?![]()

1 Powerpoint isn't as bad as it sounds. The actual activity doesn't require power if you're using Dynamat Extreme as it's soft and tacky enough that it doesn't need heat at all.
Lighting doesn't need to be super bright, just enough to see what you're doing, and honestly, most of the internal door cavity stuff is by feel anyway.
Looks like it's time to arrange that deadener group buy now. Who's got auto store contacts? Tangcla???
I can get a Dynamat Extreme bulk pack for ~$225 + delivery, so if we can get that locally (or less) and some dynaxorbs as well, then we'll be set! I'll put together a shopping list for the people that are to attend and at the top of this thread, make a list of attendees and cars.
Thanks again bennygsr for the venue.......... and no, the deadener isn't free, when you see the labour, you'll realise that the deadener is the least of the costs!
