Hey guys
Jst had my phat mufflers fitted last week, love the sound, really happy wit them.
but my fuel economy had gone from about 12.5l to 100km to about 16.5 to 100km..
was wondering why?? and if anyone has had this problem??
thankz

Especially check the gaskets and that a bolt is through each of the two holes (maybe one slipped and is now hanging across the air flowpath and causing heaps of restriction).
Like Woodduck I noticed SFA difference on my fuel economy; just better sound and throttle response

But the fact that you're 'enjoying' them means you're driving like a madman around town. Because if you don't have any other mods, you can't really hear and enjoy them unless you stomp the pedal.

Mine went from 9.4 to 10.4 after the PHAT's were fitted. I think it is a function of the right foot (subconsciously) coz it sounds better when driven harder.. It's now back to 10.
