Het JimmyH,

Those wisdom teeth can start bleeding again if you go back to work too early :D . I reckon that is a real valid reason!!!

We do not discriminate about which Gen Liberty turns up to our cruise. Hell, we would even welcome the odd WRX or FOZ, just so we can have bragin' rights over the Sydney boys!!! (Hope they are not watching this thread

i want to pick up my new diffuser from GT_tony from QLD anyway!
it'll most likely be just me, unless my mrs wants to come along (which i reckon she will.....someone needs to keep an eye on me!)

cpitts wrote:...Also, to the organisers:

I was talking to a member of the MX5 club that recently did a run through there with ~20 cars and they had issues where they were clearing local bakeries, etc when they stopped in a town for food. While good for the business, this created a bit of ill feeling amongst some locals as these places were the only places to get some instant food.

Perhaps we should arrange our stop locations and call the local businesses to warn them the number of people coming so they can pre-cater to cope. ie: extra pies/pasties in the warmers/stock and some more staff for the peak hour or so we'll create.

In Kinglake, I've spoken to the "Kinglake Bakehouse" (who also run a cafe a little up the road), and "Cafe M" (the one in the pic I posted earlier), and told them to expect us about 11am for coffee, cold drinks and cakes.

In Yarra Glen, I've spoken to the "Yarra Glen Bakehouse" (30 Bell St), and said there'd be a pile of us looking for pies/pasties/sandwiches etc about 12:30.
They said there's a number of alternatives there if we overrun them.

:good: Sounds like they've started to get some more infrastructure sorted up there in recent weeks. Gotta luv the rebuild process.

Top job Ric.

Seeing as how some of the local CFA groups lost their trucks (and the members their homes) why don't we all chip in $5-10 and donate that to one of the local CFA crews? It'd also be a nice little publicity stunt to boost the general view of those pesky Subaru Lib drivers

or some other worthy volunteer organisation out there...

Pretty sure the weather is important to everyone, unless we all want to socialise by parking in a car park and using CB's to chit chat.

Well, I'm ready for Sunday, just got an alignment as well as my new Type M pads. Will give them a work out to see how they compare to stockers.

darren,
Hell of a time to find if they fade quicker than the stocks... I'd be taking them for a thrash/"seating run" to get a feel for them.
