Heya guys.. anyone as yet got umm adsl2 as yet?

I'm thinking i'll set it up for next month

yeah i had adsl2 at my old place. wasn't too bad, but had alot of issues with stability with my modem. maximum speeds i got were 8mb/s, but i wasn't sure how far away i was from the exchange. the closer you are to the exchange the better.

i'm on cable now and seriously if i had a choice between adsl2 and cable i'd go cable.

Ive never had probs with adsl...

hehe only in town (cbd) they got it..

I'm only a block away from my Exchange

prob why I have such a good connection hehe :oops:

just check to see if your modem firmware can be updated to support ADSL2. if not then you'll probably have to buy a new modem.

I have adsl2+ with iinet. I haven't encountered any issues with it. But I'm very close to my exchange and therefore can get pretty stable sync speeds.

I believe TPG is another major company who offers adsl2+.

im with Exetel and will be stayin with them for sure

but there adsl2 is with either powertel or optus.. powertel has the same price me on atm.. with adsl 1.. so might as well upgrade.. heheh

well that is my theory lol!

Yeah i will need to get new modem.. will [prob get the new Netcomm one or something ...

Yeah, definitely go adsl2+ if it's the same price anyway. Heck, even if it's slightly more expensive, I reckon it's worth it. Especially if you do a lot of downloading (for porn), surfing (for porn), streaming (for porn) etc. :lol:
