Do you turn your HIDs off when there *is* fog cappz? Those 6000K bulbs must glare your own eyes more than anything!

There was this one time it was super foggy, at 6am driving to the airport. I drove with just my foglights off and turned off my main beams (HIDs).

You should drive up to Mount Donna Buang in winter when there is *real* fog; even when I had regular 4000K halogens I had to switch them off as I was getting unbearable glare. We're talking 3-4metres visibility though, so probably not what you would find on regular roads in Australia

The electronic sign northbound on the Waringah Freeway at North Sydney has occasionally had the notice on it re fog lights to be used in inclemant weather only...

I was stopped at a bretho in Cooma last year (or the year before?) and the cop told me it was illegal to drive with fog lights on - he didn't fine me... I wasn't aware until he told me.

I've never had a problem with the Snowy cops (or are they Monero?)... tough area to police in winter..

Umm no. If there is fog then I would turn my fog lights on. Haha I love my 6000k headlights. (Y)

I don't turn mine on unless I need it because its a big give away that i have HIDs that may not be stock in my car with the two different lights.

That two-tone look is standard on Accord Euro, Crysler 300C etc.
As far as I know, the majority of OEM fogs house hallogen bulbs straight out of the factory so will differ in colour from the HIDs. Now having HIDs as fogs, I'd say that is a big giveaway!

Yehh, but the Accord Eruo's don't use 6000k HIDs that look blue lol.
Actually now that I think about it, I haven't cars straight from the factory have HIDs as the fog lights. Haha, yes, the HID's are way too bright for fog lights. I hate It around Penrith..I see a few Commdores, Magnas, and pulsars have HIDs for their fog lights and it just blinds you!

Probably 5000k, because its a diamond white. Look on a light spectrum?
