if you want to drop the car any lower than 30 mm then just spend the money and buy some cheap coilovers, do the install yourself its fairly easy, allow a day if you've never done it before.

i have been stuffing around with different springs just for height pruposes and not handling, in the end i have Lovells springs and my car is a RUFF ride- i have trimmed my bumpstops back and the rears are fine but the fronts always bottom out, corners promote bumpsteer so handling is shot to- im saving pennies now to buy some cheap coilovers for the main reason that the bumpstops up front are alot lower than stock, so i wont be bottoming out anymore.

I don't think you can use coliovers and cheap in the same sentence lol.

you can get d2 style coilovers for 1399 shipped, fitting should be no more than $200 if you dont want to go much lower springs will be fine, but if you want to tuck even the slightest amount of tyre under the guard at all you will need coilovers.

Im a full time TAFE student working 3 jobs..dont have all the monies I want..need cheap.

If i can't find some for like $400-ish then I think I might just go the King springs..

Although it's against my better judgement, if you're after cheap, yes, you can go King Springs or Pedders. Otherwise you could opt for custom made springs by KMAC or something where they will make you a set according to what you want. And if worse comes to worst, I believe they can 'reset' your stock springs to a lowered height as well. It's like $150 to heat up and reset the springs, and the rest will be labour cost. These options aren't something I would recommend as springs are vital to ride comfort and safety and you should invest in something decent. But desparate times call for desparate measures.

i have a pair of rear lovells springs for sale that will make your car sit like this in the rear: im after $50 but these might be to low for you? wheels are 19" and note i have a body kit, so without the kit your car will still have legal ground clearence.

Springs will set you back $350 - $650, depending on the brand. Pedders and Kings are at one end, while H&R and Eibach are at the other.

with kmac, you can grab a tape measure and measure from the lip of your guard to the center of the wheel, then tell them you want to take how ever much off (30mm 40mm whatever) last i checked the cost was $380 shipped to you not fitted.

be patient and save your hard earned dollars for a decent set of springs. you will be happier in the long run

Ummm, mainly just looks as I don't mind the ride comfort now..a bit better with the bigger wheels over the stocks. I'm not too picky on the exact height of the gaps..more if the side of the car is level or not..or if it is un-even I'd like the back to sit a bit lower as I think it would look better than having the rear a bit lower..even though it would seem that way as the rear guard is a bit lower on the body of the car.

Not very hard earned at all, for the amount of work I do, I might as well just hire people to sell drugs for me lol.
