I would consider these if you could confirm fitment on a 3.0R...but im guessing you cant, and i cant afford to take a $500 gamble atm lol!

Would these fit an MY04 GT? I didn't think there was any difference in the 05 vs. 04 with regard to suspension.

Also would it be ok to use these with the stock shock absorbers, or would the use of these springs assume you are changing the shocks as well?

I've seen them on a MY07 3.0R Spec B Wagon. If they fit on a spec B they should fit on the 3.0R fine - but I can't confirm.

Troy, without being a pain, any idea what's involved in fitting these (cost wise), and freight to Perth ? I'm starting to push the very end of my mod money..........

Cheers

Dwayne

Do you have the model number for each of these? I'll try to find out the 04 situation. Would be surprised if they didn't fit. Have always thought the suspension components were fully interchangable between 04 and 05.

Troy.

If a set of the Tein's will fit our 04 Wagon I'm a definite.

$495 for the Eibach's is an awesome price as I was quoted $645 plus freight about 2 months ago.

Cheers.

Teins can be found here -> http://www.tein.com/products/s_tech_price_list.html
SKS70-AUB00

I'm still tossing up whether to save for coilovers or get a set of Teins, anything ought to be better than the King lows I have on at the moment..

Troy, what would postage be to Melbs?

Troy, not to break up the party here, but please be careful about getting the Japanese Tein S.Techs.

Because if I remember correctly, Phat ordered the JDM S.Techs for Phil's (MY07GT) car. But the springs just didn't fit right. The front was ended up being like 3 inches higher than the back, causing for a very awkward looking stance. Something about how the JDM shocks and Bilsteins are much different to ours.

Phat had to send them back to Tein in Japan for changes ... twice! Each time he requested changes to be made in order to fit the Australian Liberty. Finally the 3rd iteration from Tein yielded success! So now when Phat orders S.Techs from Japan, they send him the 'Phat Special Edition' S.Techs, which are his customised springs for the Australian Libs. It will have the same catalogue number but have an extension at the end to denote they are the special Phat ones.

In any case, I'm sure Phil or Phat can confirm their 1st hand version of events. The fitment issue was the same for MY04-MY08 GT, GT-B, 3.0R, 3.0R-B, 2.5 NA, and 2.0 NA.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all the Gen 4's used the same type of springs... In the sedans anyway.

I know the wagons have different springs to the sedan's.

I know the rear springs would be different between the sedan's and wagon's but would the front springs be the same?
