$990 Verso has got to be a more prudent investment!?

ECU tune definitely much more worthwhile. However I didn't get a Verso tune. Same sort of thing though, reflashing ECU with custom parameters, so for the sake of the argument, yes it's a better investment.

I'd rate the Sprintbooster as being worth $200 in terms of utility, not $450.

I can say that it makes a much more noticeable difference now than before. Car will kickdown gear much faster and much more readily than it did in the past.

Hey tangcla, just out of curiosity is your car an auto? I just got one fitted in my auto GT wagon recently and find that the revs & gear kickdown occurs too sporadically for my liking.

I used to have a manual version fitted on my 3.0R-B previously, and absolutely loved it! I would swear by its functionality. Although there's still a noticeable difference with the throttle response & acceleration, but I found that the revs were just too random on the auto.

I must say it was quite a letdown compared to the manual version that I had on my sedan. After having it on for less than 2 weeks, I've decided to pull it off as I just can't get use to it. Resetting the ECU at time of install didn't really make any difference.

Would love to hear any experiences from auto owners out there......

Yes, it's an auto. The gear kickdown is a bit overly aggressive, and as you said, sporadic. I find I really have to watch my foot otherwise the car will lurch forwards unexpectedly, if I'm not careful.
