respraying chrome rims.. the project..

Personally, I would stick with painting them... When they are prepped properly and with multiple coats, if you get a small chip on the wheel, it often wont show up the old colour, but with powdercoating, even the slightest little nick will show the chrome underneath!

Either way though, i'm sure it will look a stack better than with the chrome on there! :)

well i just found a mob nearby that will powder coat my rims for $66 per wheel, and they have an insane wall of colours, so many different styles!

they say they can have it done within a week to, so i think this will be the way to go as there nearby and i wont have to worry about it..

i have chosen a dark dark dark gunmetal grey, its a low gloss colour but looks the goods i think.

I don't know of anyone who's picked a non-dark colour for powder coating or re-painting their wheels. Dark colours the rage nowadays! :D

Who are you calling old?

Anyone who wants a set of 10 spoke Spec B wheels to powder coat, I'll be selling mine as soon as Luke brings them back!
