Wheel Recondition

Postby Resonate » Wed Jan 21, 2009 5:23 pm

So after an extremely busy few months i now had some spare time alone with my car and *Finally* took my wheel to get reconditioned. I have to say that i am extremely impressed with the results and would recommend Depulu Wheels to anyone. Came back this morning looking absolutely immaculate and considering today is also my birthday, it was really good timing (along with something else that arrived in the mail) :).

Sorry for the weird angles as i had my back to the wall and was just too lazy to reverse the car out. Also... the damage was not a result of my doing!!

This picture doesn't show it well but those aren't just gutter rashes but there are actual pieces taken off the rim, i can literally fit my pinkie into one of the craters.

Four days later it came back looking like new.

It really depends on the rim and what needs to be done with it but its an average of about $140~ or more. There are definitely cheaper places but i went straight to Depulu based on their reputation.

Looks good Nigel. I'd pay $140 just to get those suckers cleaned!

Happy birthday, go and drink some beer.

Happy Birthday, Nigel! Hope you live it up tonight! :D

Fanastic results! Wheel looks practically brand new! Does this mean all is forgiven for the offender who put that scratch there to begin with? I'd certainly be embarassed to drive around with a scratched wheel because people will think you did it!

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys, just having a quiet one tonight. :)

Yeah Jim, all is forgiven now. Though driving around with that scratch has been hell, it felt like i had a constant hemorrhoid in my ass. It was always in the back of my mind while driving which drove me nuts!
