i actually saw a post many months ago on ozliberty i think regarding changing the front badge colour (i think will look pretty good, white badge on pearl white?) but never got around to posting to see if anyone had tried it...

i maybe have to give it a go! i think the front would look good, but white on white on the boot? thoughts?

Haha. See my post above yours, Mano! But as chance would have it, I did end up buying the black one (like the one pictured above) a long time ago but never put it on. You want it?

Mate that looks fucking fake lol!

It would be like going to a cheap shop to buy that..

Would be these ones;

Love that CF badge Jim boy :)

Your photos are awesome, but I have to say the CF looks much more impressive in the flesh :D

Can't wait to get me one in the not too distant future ;)

Mano, you know you want some CF on your car :lol:

Where the heck am I supposed to stick that? Err, nevermind. Don't answer that. :P

But naw, already got something similar on top of the CF engine cover hidden away inside the engine bay. No need to start slapping up random CF bits around the car.

Those of you who know me know I hate any visible carbon fiber on the outside of the car. However what annoys me more is not being able to keep a consistent theme to the car. Have a blue Subaru emblem where there is no blue anywhere on the car bothered me. So I finally bit the bullet and splurged for a K2 Gear carbon fiber Subaru emblem. I think this is subtle enough not to be so apparent.

Image

This replaces the 6 start Subaru emblem on the boot, and has a carbon fiber background instead of the checkered blue. Here they are side by side. The factory Subaru emblem is the top one for those of you that are legally blind.

Image

The original emblem is a huge pain to remove. Needless to say I did some awful things to pry it out. Luckily the new badge covers up the same area.

Here's the emblem on the car. A very subtle change in my opinion. I think only a real Subaru enthusiast would be able to spot that it's not the factory original, and that's only if he's into the little details like I am.
