MY07 Liberty - Can anybody suggest a good dealership??

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

MY07 Liberty - Can anybody suggest a good dealership??

Postby grunta007 » Tue Dec 26, 2006 6:07 pm

Hi,
I am in the process of getting a MY07 3.0RB-Spec Auto Sedan with Sat-Nav installed, Can anybody suggest a good dealership in the Sydney area to chat too as I have spoken to a couple but I wanted to see if anybody would suggest a dealership other than the one's I have already spoken with..

:-)

thanks

I've heard good and bad things about just about every dealership in Sydney. I've bought three Subarus from three separate dealerships in spite of going back to the purchasing dealer to arrange my next car.

You need to

a) Get a few drives in to be sure what you want and

b) Not get ripped off

If you do a, this will likely involve visiting a few nearby places so you can see what sort of a deal you can make. Brokers seem to get more off than most people can privately, even sometimes if you intend to trade. I have recently heard reports of $2-4000 off full RRP on MY07 stock. You may also find an 06-plated MY07 car is a wee bit cheaper than an 07-plated one.

I found Tom Kerr excellent when shopping, bought through Sydney City and they were great at the time. Generally good reports from SVM too.

Liverpool Subaru.

PMSL I'm still waiting for a quote 6 weeks after buying my RB 3 elsewhere

As for others not happy with Denlo Group as they share your information between their dealerships so you get the same price from each which is a waste of time .

Then their is the dealer at Brookvale that sends out the TITS and no brain and tries to explain things that arent even in the brochure LOL
and has arranged a 2.5 for test drive because they didn't have a H6 and explained that the motor is just a bit bigger PMSL otherwise they are the same car both are BLACK (think she is working a a check out chick now )
Or the dealer that tries to sell a second hand car because it was a good idea for them seeing that they didn't have stock of what i wanted.

The nicest bloke I found was Scott at Bankstown .I was prepared to pay a little extra if he had stock .

Buddah
PS and when you have your 5000k service and have used a 1liter of oil and told it is within Subaru's tolerance remember how many other lies you were told when purchasing HAPPY MOTERING

Yeah well,

Every1 has their own opinions and would have experienced different salesman from different dealerships.

I work in the industry and will be able to speak directly to people.

Like I said I'm offerring my help for any purchasers. I have no personal gain.

After six weeks, I think you can be confident it's never coming.
I guess they lost your address, or sent it to the wrong address. Pretty sloppy followup that they didn't ring to see if you got it though...

Sloppy??? they have my email which they have used many times !!!!!
First they quoted for a 06 not 07 then quoted 06 price for a 07 then quoted for a 2.5 not a H6 and then --------- I'm still waiting
After all this do you think I would buy a car from this mob????

Buddah PS lets have the Best And Worst Subaru dealer poll for 2007??

I can second Scott @ Bankstown, he knew more about the car then any other dealer before it was even released. The service I received was the one of the best experiences buying a car and somewhat refreshing.
