My boss has the 9-5. Just had a full engine rebuild after what I've heard is a common p[roblem Saab won't admit, plastic buildup in the sump obstructing the oil pickup...

Thanks guys

Saabs are extremely unreliable, we went through hell during our 8 years of ownership, with about 9 break downs, leaking engine, leaking powersteering pump, leaking waterpump, fuel pump malfunction, complete ECU failure, faulty ABS...... and it went through a complete gearbox rebuilt in the beginning of this year before we had enough and sold it.

That car convienced me to go japanese, and Liberty is the best japanese car out there. I test drove the IS250 before deciding on the Liberty because it doesn't offer the space, the practicality, style and performance of the Subaru. I didn't get the Honda Accord Euro because everyone has got one, and the quality isn't as good as the Subaru.
