Instrument Panel Removal

Postby wildfire42 » Mon Oct 24, 2022 4:37 pm

Hi all
2007 Gen 4 Liberty Wagon.
I am planning on removing the Instrument Cluster.
I have read in the FSM that after you refit the panel that you have
to re-register the Immobilizer.

" When the combination meter of model with
immobilizer has been replaced, be sure to perform the registration of immobilizer. "

Possibly that means if a different (new to the car ) panel is installed.

Thought I should check before removing. I would expect that people
have done that before. Any problems encountered ?

Cheers.

Update:
I have searched this forum and it looks like plenty
of guys have removed and reinstalled their cluster without
a problem so I am set to go when the weather improves.
Thanks all.
