Navigation DVD Updates.

Postby jpsimons89 » Tue Sep 15, 2020 6:38 pm

Howdy, First time posting.

i just bought my 2004 Liberty Spec B STI.

the Navigation system is very out dated. and was wondering if there was a way updating these.

i know that you can purchase new maps. but before hand was going to check if there was another way.

thanks in advance.

Jacob.

There’s a thread with map downloads, then you need to burn onto a dual layer DVD at 1x speed...
Iirc the update for gen4 C1 top out around a few years ago.

My stock nav is hooked up to an android tv box that hosts Btssm.
I’ll add an AA/AC wired dongle to the tv box eventually.

The important thing is to not loose your original software DVD.
Its required after a battery hard reset.

C1 V14 is that DVD. :good:
