So I need a new headlight for my pre face lift gen4 3.0r-b.
Are all gen 4 to 2006 the same ?

I think so, apart from some models had a blue tinted bezel.

Japan had an hid type not technically legal in Australia.

You can see there is a part # and an alternate...

Google the part numbers in Google image search to see if there’s any visual differences, eg clear or blue bezel.
