Tablet/Carputer MY07

Postby Mingzaa » Sun Mar 11, 2018 8:00 am

Hey all,

Looking to install a tablet/carputer for audio, navi, bluetooth, etc... in the cubby hole of my MY07 Liberty.

Anyone know where they still sell the AV fascia kits since being discontinued?

If not, has anyone modified the standard fascia (with clock) so that they can install a screen up there?

Thanks.

Heaps of info here, member hardwarebob aka Matt Parslow is our local expert who supplies conversion kits for the head unit and knows all the required info. He’s also on FB...

Personally, I’d install a low profile android 2din in place of my stock nav and pipe the audio into my stock McIntosh head unit. That should deliver a bright screen with reverse cam input and minimal mucking around with mods n hacks, the only headaches being the nav surround and screen mounting.
